Sometimes children must perform important tasks within the family. Different families, have different expectations of how much children should integrate with the family and contribute to the wellbeing of the family group. Depending on culture, religion or background it is expected for a certain child to do a particular job. For example, in Thai culture it is the duty of the youngest child to stay in the home, take care of the elderly parents, and preserve the family’s traditions. The youngest child never leaves home, but inherits everything when the parents pass away (the house, land, money etc.) Another example would be in Amish culture, the older children are obligated to help raise and tend to the younger children. Amish people tend to have many children so they can help work and manage the farm. Before the younger babies are able to care for themselves, the older children are prompted to train and guide them to maturity. A final example would be Middle Eastern culture, where young women are required to cook, clean, and maintain the home, while the young men go to work with their father. It is the custom that women stay home, watch the children, and facilitate the house while men go out and work to support their family. Middle Eastern children are taught from an early age to be obedient and learn their place within their culture.

Sometimes children must perform important tasks within the family. Families may assign different responsibilities to their young ones. Years ago these tasks were categorized by gender. For example, girls would do the dishes and boys would take out the garbage. My aunt used to do the dishes when she was a child and my uncle used to take out the garbage. Another example would be girls doing the laundry and boys scrubbing toilets. My mom used to do the laundry when she was a teenager and my dad used to scrub the toilets. A final example of this would be girls cooking meals throughout the day, and boys cutting the lawn. My niece used to cook when she was younger and my nephew used to cut the law. It seems like girls had the cleaner jobs, while boys had the dirty jobs. Nowadays it doesn’t matter which gender performs what task, as long as it gets done.

Sometimes children must perform important tasks within the family. Different families, requirements vary depending on their culture, religion or background. For example, in Jamaica it is the duty of the oldest boy to go to work with his dad on the weekends, and learn that particular trade, so that he would be able to provide for the family if something happened to the main bread winner. Another example would be in the Indian Culture, the oldest daughter was responsible for the household chores, such as cooking, cleaning and laundry as this contributes to being a good wife, as she is to first to marry to diminish shame on the family, the boys on the other hand were taught the game of Cricket, a man is not a man until he understands this game at an early age. A final example would be the Chinese culture, the boys are the king, and their only responsibility is to learn to manage the family business. Their training starts from an early age and thus they are very successful businessmen in the wholesaling industry. The girls’ duty which is taught from birth through adolescence is to be a very submissive wife that caters to their husband’s whims and fantasies.

Sometimes children must perform important tasks in the family. It is a part of growing up and learning what it is like to help people out. For example, when I was growing up me and my sister had to do the dishes and we had to take turns everyday. I honestly did not like doing the dishes but now i do not mind it because I got used to it early on. Another example of why it is important is when a child is put to a task it keeps them from developing lazy habits. If they are taught to get off the couch and do chores then they will get accustomed to it. A final example of why it is important is when I was younger I was taught how to clean parts of the house and when i got older I did not stuggle with it. When they are taught early on then they will not have questions later and gets their mind off of video games and television for a little bit. I think that it is important that every child should have some responsibility little by little while growing up.

By doing these tasks children are doing their part in the family,
that way they learn how to be responsable. Another example would be children can provide to the parents while the parents are busy; the children might bring something they need, answer the phone, or bring the tool to their father while he is fixing the car. Children doing chores are helping take stress off their parents even doing just a simple tasks such as taking care of pets.A final example would be children get older, they may do more important tasks for the family, like baby sitting, getting groceries at the store, help fixing something in the house, taking grand parents to the dostor. Sometimes childen must perform important tasks in the family. Different families, have different
expectations of how much children should integrate with the family and contribute to the wellbeing of the family group. For example, in my family of all girls, the oldest child would be the one to assign the household responsibilities to the other siblings while our parents worked. One of us cooked while the other two cleaned the entire house, to make things easier for my parents after a hard days work. Another example in my family, every other week we had to take out every screen in the windows and wash them. It was to keep the house from being dusty and the responsibility rotated every other week with us. Final example would be whenever we went out the oldest was responsible for making sure that we all left together and came back together. It was our parents way of being able to trust us to go without them being there. Teaching children to perform tasks while they are young will help them be responsible, independent individuals when they are older.

Sometimes children must perform important tasks within the family. Giving children chores is great way to help them mature to an adult. For example, a boy helping outside with yard work can help him develop the knowledge of hard work. It is great way to teach children on how to work and learn something from working. Another example would be leaving certain task to be done at certain a certain time. This will help young adults learn time management and responsibilities. A final example is as simple as walking the dog every day. This will help children dedicate themselves to a task each day. Sometimes children must perform important tasks in the family. Today is very important that we instill responsibilities to our children. As a mother I like to teach my five years old daughter rules at home that will help her in the future. For example,to keep their room tidy is a very important rule because as we know a child at this age always likes to throw their toys on the floor and the hardest part is to collect them. Another example of important task in the family would be to learn to listen and to follow instructions. For a child at this age following instructions and listening is a challenge because they always want to do what they want. A final example would be that of teaching them to be independent. It is helpful for the parents that a child of this age know how to dress them self, how to eat along and to do small chores such as carrying dirty dishes to the sink and to take care of their pets. These simple tasks at home are so important in a child’s life that influence their way of behave in the future. It is our responsibility as a parents to instill respect for the rules of the house so thus create an atmosphere of peace in the family.

Another example of children performing important tasks is the help they provide to their parents while their parents are busy doing something else like pick up the mail, bring the towel while the parents are taking a shower. A final example of children performing important tasks within the family is when they get older, they may do more important tasks for the family, such as doing the laundry, getting groceries etc. By involving children in the family tasks help them to be organize and responsible, all these chores help the family greatly and teach children valuable life lessons.

Sometimes children must perform important tasks within the family. Assigning certain chores on a daily basis to your children cultivate them for maturity and responsibility. Whatever children learn as a child will carry them through adolescence. For example, having them make the bed routinely every morning builds initiative on their part and eventually they will do it every day without you having to ask them. Another example is letting them take the dog out every morning. This helps them to be responsible for someone else besides their own interests. Finally, another example is having your children care for the elderly in your household, if any. This shows them to be kind and respectful towards their elders. These are just a few examples of what children can do within the family to help them in the future. We all want are kids to be great, but they should be lead by example and assigning them responsibilities. It’s all a building block to success.

Sometimes children must perform important tasks within the family. For example, one may have to take care of their siblings while their parent(s) work late nights. This may be due to not being able to afford a sitter or being a single parent. Another example, the child has a job and helps pay some of the bills. Sometimes one job doesn’t help much and the child may have decided to help out with funds. A final example, in some countries the kids have to come back with food or money or they’ll get beaten. This results them to stealing but it’s their important tasks that they must do. It isn’t fair that some children have to take on so much responsibility at such a young age. But, without these children some of these families can not be supported.

Sometimes Children must perform important tasks with the family. Many children in their family must take on an important task in their family. For example taking care of their little baby brother or baby sister. That is an important task that you can do for your parents. You should that task to show your parents that you are responsible and you are showing them that you care and that you would like to help them out because you know that they are tired from work. Another example of task that children can do is helping their parents clean the house. Well the children can help their parents by cleaning their room, the Table, the Kitchen or just by taking out the trash. A final example of children during important task is helping their parents with their pet like for example if you have a dog or a cat. Like you can help them by taking the dog for a walk, cleaning their beds or their kitty litter box that is a great way of showing that you care about the pet and you are showing your parents that you are responsible and caring for them. When you know that they are tired from work and these are just some examples of children performing important tasks at home.

Sometimes children must perform important tasks within the family. Different families may have different responsibilities for their children of all different ages, to help them grow into becoming an adult. For example, making a game out of clean-up time for a 6 year old in hopes of getting a puppy would be a good way to get her to be more open to cleaning other things, thus giving her the maturity to always work to get what she wants. Another example would be letting two teenie-boppers to clean and dry dishes; one washes the dishes and the other drys them. This responsibility instills teamwork, teaching them that working together is much easier than working alone. A final example would be letting the older teenager get a job and pay a bill, this will give him resposibility in financial management for the real world when he gets older. Children that have different sets of responsibilities helps them mature into adulthood. These tasks can teach children about the importantance of independance, teamwork, and finacial management.

Sometimes children are required to perform important tasks within the household. Depending on the culture , age of the children , and gender. They are required to do their part within the household. Tasks like , doing dishes , walking the dog , setting the table , and taking out the trash are all ways of teaching responsibility at a young age. This helps mold young people into responisble adults in the future. I remember when i was growing up , I always had a certain task or “chore”. For example , every saturday i had to help my father mow the grass. This taught me not only responsibility , but to always have a sense of pride in my work. From a young age to becomming a young man , these responsibilities helped me exceed in finding jobs as a teenager. Pride for my work and a responsible attitude helpes me excell. I strongly believe more households should impliment a set of responsibility to children , from a young age to becoming young men and women. Being responsible from a young age can also help young men and women fincance their finances. Being an imprtant aspect in adulthood , that sense of responsiblity from a child will help tremendously.

Another example would be helping the mother around the house, cleanning, cooking. it will help the subject tto be able to maintain his own house in the future. A final example would be as simple as read the Bible to the youngest ones, take them to Children’Bible study. A task to help the youngest ones to know exactly what God is about. Those responsiblities prepare the children for their future. Getting used to have some responsiblities will make it easy to manage a family .

Sometimes children must perform important tasks within the family
The assignment of responsibilities and tasks to children within the family is what allow the family to function properly. In a lot of society and culture children are considered a part of the family and therefore they need to be responsible to perform certain important chores in the household. At an early they can be involved into the daily routine of the house. For example, they can be asked to clean up their room and put away their toys after using them. To make the task easier for the children the parents for instance can have labeled storage baskets for different toys such as stuffed animal, dolls, books. Another example of task a child can perform is taking care of the family pet if any. Parents should not be doing everything about the pet; they need to involve the child by giving a daily routine of caring for the animal such as feeding, or taking the pet for a walk. A final example is to involve the children in the everyday life of the family by assigning some task like washing and folding clothes, wash dishes. Once in a while a teenager can be asked to cook dinner for the family, it is a good way to teach how to cook and fix a meal. Getting children involved and having them performed important tasks within the family is a way for the family members to help each other and not overwhelmed.

Sometimes children must perform important tasks within the family. Children are asked to perform such tasks in order to show them the meaning of responsibility. For example, Growing up as a child I was expected to make my bed. My grandmother would not allow me to ride the school bus unless my bed had been made. Another example would be how I was told to wash the dishes on specif nights after dinner. My older brother would was also told to wash the dishes on the nights I did not wash. A final example of how asking children to perform important tasks within the family allows them to develop responsibility, is how I was expected to look after my younger and older siblings. That way my parents were able to trust is while they were at work. Many parents believe that this method prepares children for the simple everyday obstacles of the real world.

Sometimes children must perform important tasks within the family. Every person was obviously taught by an elder. And every elder had the common duty of reliably transferring knowledge. For example, families in most cultures today want their child to complete school, we make this a priority and affiliated education, with a successful life. Another example is some families in Ethiopia handing the child a task of guarding their crops in the Simien Mountains. A final example is the children in Djenne, Mali receiving the task of helping rebuild their central mosque by passing the plaster from the ground to the adult on hand made ladders. We all want to teach our children and the way we mostly teach is by asking a child to perform task everyday. Its something that can be so small yet, builds amazing character.

Sometime children must perform important tasks within the family. Parents teach children a sense of responsibility, competence, self reliance and self worth that stays with them throughout their lives. For example, a task that my siblings and I were brought up into was getting involved in our family. My eldest sister and I did a through house cleaning on Saturdays while my second sister and a younger one did a simple lunch. On Sundays, my eldest sister and I would would cook a full delicious and complete meal for the family of seven children, Mom and Dad, while my second sister and the younger one would do the house tidying. Another example of task was amongst my two brothers and dad, the three would start outdoor chores on Saturday mornings before sunrise at 6.30am. By 11.30am, they were finished with mowing the lawn, pruning and cleaning the the numerous trees and plants, and washing around the house. . Explanation of another task was to do the weekly banking and especially grocery shopping by amongst the whole family. That task thought us all conservation with our finances. During the week was time only for school work. Today, it is a fact that both my brothers’ and my four sisters’ homes are like family palaces full with love and respect. They are all very educated, responsible and so are their kids, because the kis tasks are just the same. that is what real families are all about!!!

This really should me the importance of money. Lastly, to make sure you pay your bills. Since I was young, my dad always taught me what to do and how to pay it. Sometimes children must perform tasks within the family. These tasks vary from household to household. For example in my household I have to wash the dishes and also do the laundry every weekend, and my younger brother has to take out the garbage and vaccume the house. This is important because the house stays clean and each person has a specific assignment so there are no arguments about who does what. Another example is in the Somali culture children are a very important part of the house hold, they do a lot of the household chores while their fathers are out working, and the mothers are in the kitchen cooking most of the day. Because the households are so big, and so many people live in one house, the Mothers are almost cooking which leaves the responsibility on the child. A final example of why it is important is when I was at a responsible age; I was left in charge of watching my younger siblings. “Babysitting”. This taught me a lot of responsibility and also taught me how to deal with younger children, since then I have become a very motherly figure in my home.

Sometimes children must perform important tasks within the family. Assigning chores has many benefits, not only to your household but to your child’s personal development as well. For example when I was younger every night I had to clear the table and feed our dogs. By doing this it showed me responsibility. As I got older I understood that by me clearing off the table, I showed my mother respect and appreciation for cooking. Another example would be my four year old son; every time I come back from grocery shopping he has to put his juice away. Although it is something small to do, he enjoys doing it and feels like he is helping out. By making this a routine he doesn’t mind doing each time.A final example of this would be by me learning at a young age that my small task’s contributed to my family prepared me for many situations I encountered in life such as school, sports and work.

Sometimes children are required to perform important tasks within the household. Depending on how the parents want to raise their children, there are many important tasks that can be taken care of. Most children are held responsible for everyday chores around the house, but it is different in all houses. For example, in my house, me being the only boy, I had to assist in cooking with my dad, while my mom and my sisters set the table and cleaned the dishes. Another example of important tasks in my house, is maintaining the inside of the house. I am the oldest so I am usually assigned to the “older” tasks, (if you will) such as sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping, while my younger sisters did simpler tasks such as dusting or cleaning tables. A final example of work done within the household is taking out the trash and doing laundry. There are many tasks that parents cannot get to all in one day, therefore children should be required to help out here and there. All of these tasks may seem boring or a form of punishment to children, but it will only help them when they are forced to live on their own.

Sometimes children must perform important tasks within the family. In order to know what role or important task the children must perform you must ask yourself questions. For example, what’s their cultural background, what’s the history in their families how many children are in the house hold etc.? After you get to the bottom of everything you will see there are different strokes for different folks not just USA vs. everywhere else either. For example in the suburbs we may have to do tasks around the house like, clean the kitchen or the bathrooms. While on a farm they may have to get up early and milk cows, feed chickens, collect eggs and so on. So you see for you to determine what a child have to do or not have to do require research on several different things.

Sometimes children are required to perform important task within the household. Often children are tasked out with small but all-important responsibilities that not only help out with everyday chores but also build skills that are needed later on in adulthood. For example children are often told to keep their rooms clean. This small task helps children understand and learn cleanliness and how to maintain it at home. Another example would be when older children are responsible for the care of a younger child such as a sibling or a cousin, this responsibilities gives children a simple understanding of how to care for a child. Finally children are always responsible for small jobs such as washing the dishes, walking the dog, and setting the table. These task aren’t just given because they need to be done, they are given to show the importance of what it means to be responsible for something to instill the importance of being a responsible adult.

For example, such tasks include cleaning up his or her room, doing his or her homework, and washing his or her dishes. These tasks help the children develop skills needed for everyday life. Another example of tasks children must perform is babysitting. Although babysitting is mainly a teen’s job, babysitting while being supervised helps children gain experience and knowledge of what it’s like to take care of another. A final example of an important task children must perform is cleaning after his or her self. A child who maintains to be responsible by keeping his or her room clean and other parts of the living area helps the child with tidiness and responsibility. The more tasks children accomplish and complete, the more it helps them in the long run in living his or her life.

Sometimes children must perform important tasks within the family. From an early age they are assigned said tasks, so as to allow them to become used to the task and the expectations for completing it. For example, my elder brother was assigned to work with my father outside, as he was the oldest, and my younger brother and I worked inside with my mother. When I got older, I moved outside to assist with the yard work. Another example of this could be a family with a son and daughter, making the traditional work roles even more clear, with the son doing the chores that are required outdoors and the daughter doing the chores that are required indoors. While this is hardly always the case, this is a very basic example. A final example could be one with two or more daughters, relating to my first example, that have the eldest doing the more physical jobs and the youngest doing the less physical jobs. Regardless of the example, assigning chores from a young age instills in them a sense of responsibility and a work ethic they will take with them beyond the home.

Another example would be how young men are expected to assist their fathers with traditional male roles consisting of tasks like yard work, vehicle and general home maintenance where as the female assists with traditional roles such as cooking, cleaning and caring for other family members. A final example would be ethnic backgrounds where cultures influence the type of task that are preformed in relation to the variations in age and gender with task ranging from caring of babies to elders, adhering to traditions that govern everything from home duties to even marriage and in some cases what should be done after marriage in relation to the family. Sometimes children must perform important tasks within the family. These tasks can be either given to them to teach them a sense of responsibility, or just expected of them depending on the culture or family. For example, in the hispanic culture it is the eldest childs responsibility to be aware of their siblings. They are expected to protect thier younger brothers or sisters and know where they are at all times. This expectation can help them learn how to work together and understand that family comes first. Another example of tasks expected from children is the caring of ailing family members. This task is also usually given to the eldest child if not the second eldest. This is to make sure that ,in case the outcome is fatal, they are ready to take on the rest of the responsibilities of the family. A final example is the roles Italian children have. For the girls more of them attend high school and move on to college. The boys on the other hand are expected to go out with their fathers and learn a trade. The males are expected to be more masculine and are seen as the stronger, bread winners of the family. Most of the time we do not notice the tasks given to us because they seem so natural, but without these certan expectations the structure in a family could fall apart.

Another example of performing my important tasks is the help I provide for my parents , while my mom is busy or working; I tend to cook pastas like , spaghetti with meatballs or rigatoni bolognese. Sometimes I answer phones calls too. I believe that being helpful to parents can lead to a much more better and loving family. A final example is that as children get older, they may do more important tasks for the family, such as doing groceries , pay utility bills or even fixing a car. Another example in the Japanese culture would be that the children of the household will often live with their parents until their mid 20s. Due to Japan being so crowded it is often the case that children are expected to live with their parents even until their mid 20s. Sometimes children must perform certain tasks within the family. With my hispanic upbringing these tasks begin pretty early in our lives. As the youngest of three, I rememer my older siblings helping my parents for my sake. For example, they always had to “protect me”. “Make sure she doesn’t get hurt”, “Make sure she is always in your sight”, “Watch what she puts in her mouth”!! I can only imagine the stresses my older siblings felt as kids. As we grew up examples of the “tasks” became better known as the daily house chores. That included my bed having to be made, any dishes in the kitchen, and if it was time laundry as well. As time passed, the tasks became more routine. A final example is now as an adult. Whenever my aunt(s) or uncle(s) need me to pick up or take my younger cousin anywhere, I’m readily available. I guess you can say all the training I received helping out around the house taught me the meaning of family. We are a team and should always be able to extend our hand when needed.
