It seems I've been an English teacher most of my adult life, even when I worked at IBM in the late '80's.

I also teach developmental composition.

Served on the SACS Quality Assurance Review Team (QART) for G. Holmes Braddock Senior High School.
Wrote three sections of the final report.
Consultant, Educational Testing Service (ETS): 1996, 2001 - 2004:
Evaluated essay responses for the Advanced Placement (AP) English Language Test.
Table leader, 2004.
College Level Academic Skills Test (CLAST), State of Florida: 1990 - 1998:
Evaluated student essays that satisfy the writing component of CLAST,
a state-wide competency exam for college graduates.
Technical Writer, IBM Corporation, Boca Raton, Florida: Feb. 1985 - Jan. 1990:
Wrote, tested, revised, and edited IBM internal and external documents in hardware,
telecommunications, and software.

Taught technical writing as an adjunct instructor while working full-time at IBM.
